Bulk File Management in TRX Workbench

The TRX Workbench now includes a bulk file management feature in the Working Set section that allows you to enable or disable multiple files at once in the player. This replaces the previous method of individually selecting each file.

What's Changed

Previous Method

  • Each file required individual checkbox selection/deselection

  • Page reloaded after every single checkbox change

  • Managing multiple files could take several minutes

  • Inefficient for sessions with lots of audio files

New Method

  • Select multiple files at once using checkboxes

  • Use a dropdown menu to enable or disable all selected files

  • Single page reload for multiple file changes

How to Use Bulk File Management

Step 1: Navigate to Working Set

Navigate to the TRX Workbench and locate the Working Set section where your files are displayed. You'll see a table a checkbox column.

Step 2: Select Files

Select the files you want to manage by:

  • Checking the checkboxes next to individual files

Step 3: Choose Your Action

Once you've selected your files, look for the dropdown menu at the bottom of the table. The dropdown will show "Enable" by default with "With selected:" displayed above it. Click the dropdown to reveal your options:

  • Enable - Makes all selected files active in the player

  • Disable - Removes all selected files from the player so their corresponding hearing times are not displayed

Step 4: Apply Changes

After selecting your action from the dropdown, click the Go button next to it to execute your changes. The page will reload once, applying the action to all selected files. The changes should now apply to the content loaded into the workbench.

This new feature is also available for the Log Notes if they are available:
