Content Provider Instructions

This step-by-step guide explains how to process and deliver TRX Audio Requests for Content Providers.

Table of Contents


Login to TRX Site

  1. Access your jurisdiction's TRX site through:

    • Email notification links, or

    • Direct navigation to your court's TRX URL

  2. Login using your provided credentials

  3. For login assistance, contact support@trxchange.com


Open / View Request

  1. Upon login, you'll see your active Requests list

  2. Click either the Request # or Case Name to open a Request



Request Tabs Overview

  • Details: Request and case information

  • Messages: Communication thread

  • Payments: Electronic payment details and history

  • Routing: System routing information

  • Downloads: Published content for customer access

  • Share: Request sharing options

  • Content: Upload and publish audio/video

  • Notes: Public and private notes
    ​


Upload Content to Request

  1. Navigate to either the Details or Content Tab

  2. Click "Upload Files"

  3. In the pop-up window, select "Add Files"

  4. Choose your files for upload

  5. Click "Start Upload"

    • Important: Keep the upload window open until completion

  6. When finished, click "I'm Done"


Review Content in TRX Studio

The Content tab contains two sections:

  1. File Manager

    • Shows all uploaded files

    • Enables direct file downloads

  2. Studio

    • Displays hearing dates and durations

    • Click date text to review in player

    • Shows case details and hearing information


Publish Content

To publish the entire hearing in the TRX Studio

  1. Open the Studio tab

  2. Click the 3-line menu

  3. Select "Publish"

  4. All Content in the Studio / Workbench becomes available in Player / Downloads tab


Enabling Downloads

If the Court allows downloads of Requested Court Content, this can be enabled on the Content -> Studio tab. On the "Publications" section, the Published segments are displayed. There is a check box in the column under the disk icon pic, see below:

Clicking this check box will enable the download. It may take some time to process based on the length of the hearing.

Once completed, the Customer will see a small disk icon on the player tab, which they can click to initiate the download.


Publishing Video Content

If the hearing recorded contains video this video content can be disabled prior to Publishing. To do so, before selecting "Publish" click the camera icon in the Studio (image below). This should remove the Video window in the studio and when published will NOT add the video content

When this is done, only the Audio content from the hearing will be available on the Player tab.

To confirm if the Request was Published correctly, just open the Player tab and confirm. What you see on the Player tab is the same thing the Customer will see. If there is no video in the Player tab, the Customer does not have access to the video.


Bookmarking Process

For publishing specific portions of hearings:

  1. Set START and END times in player

  2. Click the Bookmark icon

  3. Verify bookmark creation (green confirmation banner)

  4. Published segment appears with black tick marks in player

  5. Publishing after bookmarking will add the bookmarked segment to the Player / Downloads tab

Content on the PLAYER tab is available for the Customer to review.



TRX Voicecopy

TRX Voicecopy, if available in your Jurisdiction, is a Voice to Text technology which will create a linked text document based on the Audio content in the Studio.

Click the 3-line menu in the TRX Studio

  1. Select Process Voicecopy to Process the hearing with Voicecopy

  2. When completed, select Deliver Voicecopy from the same menu to make Voicecopy available to the Customer via the Player


Posting Messages

  1. Open Messages tab

  2. Enter message in text box

  3. Optional: Add attachments (documents, images)

  4. Click "Post"

  • All shared users with notifications enabled receive email notifications of new messages


Sharing Requests

  1. Access Share tab to view associated users

  2. Click "Share" button for new sharing

  3. Enter recipient's:

    • First name

    • Last name

    • Email address

  4. If the Request is marked CONFIDENTIAL it cannot be shared. Contact TRX Support for assistance.

Note: New users show as (Pending) until account activation


Finalize Requests

  1. Click "Finalize" button (top right)

  2. System will:

    • Notify customer via email

    • Change status to "Completed"

    • Lock Request from modifications


Archive Requests

  1. Use "Archive Request" button to organize completed Requests

  2. Toggle archived Requests visibility using Show/Hide button

  3. Archived Requests don't appear in default view
