Release Notes - June–July 2026 - Single Sign-On and VoiceCopy+

June–July 2026: single sign-on for Asgard with Microsoft Entra ID and Okta, VoiceCopy+ enhanced transcripts with a Linked Transcript PDF, clearer TPro paragraphs, and Request Central order filters and payment entry.

Written by Chris Shaw

Applies to: Asgard, Request Central, and TRX TranscriptionPro™ (TPro) · Judge / Magistrate, Court Clerk, Court Administrator, Provider, Requester, Other court staff

June and July brought two of the most requested upgrades to TheRecordXchange®: single sign-on for Asgard, and VoiceCopy+™, an enhanced tier of VoiceCopy™ speech-to-text built for judges and court staff who need an accurate, navigable record fast. TPro and Request Central improved as well.

Asgard courts receive single sign-on and VoiceCopy+ as part of a scheduled Asgard upgrade, so some of what follows may not be available for your court yet. See Common questions below.

New in Asgard

For: Judge / Magistrate, Court Clerk, Court Administrator, Other court staff · Signing in and getting a cleaner transcript of a case

Single sign-on with Microsoft Entra ID and Okta

Asgard now connects to the identity provider your organization already uses. Staff sign in with their Microsoft Entra ID or Okta work account, so there is no separate TRX password to manage, and TRX never sees or stores it.

  • Ready on day one. Court administrators can set up users and assign groups before anyone signs in, so the right permissions are in place at first sign-in.

  • Control stays with your court. Court administrators manage their own groups and role assignments.

  • A TRX-branded sign-in page. Users who sign in directly with a TRX account see a page headed Sign in to TheRecordXchange.

  • Consistent password rules. Direct sign-in passwords must be 8 to 256 characters and use at least three of four character types: uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols.

VoiceCopy+ enhanced transcripts

VoiceCopy+ produces an enhanced transcript for a saved case (designation) in Asgard, with improved speaker attribution, proper nouns, and punctuation. The original VoiceCopy remains available alongside it.

  • Add participants first. Enter names, roles, and speaker IDs before you run VoiceCopy+ so the transcript gets them right. Your entries are saved, so you can come back and finish later.

  • Click any word to jump to it. VoiceCopy+ text is synced to the audio word by word, so a click moves the player to that exact moment.

  • Download a Linked Transcript PDF. The PDF has a header page, page numbers, and links that open the player at the matching moment in the recording.

  • Export to RTF. RTF downloads show a speaker ID on every paragraph, with cleaner paragraph spacing.

  • Decide who can do what. Role-based permissions separate who can run VoiceCopy+ from who can only view the results.

  • Works with TR Assist and sharing. TR Assist uses the VoiceCopy+ text once it is available, and sharing a case includes its VoiceCopy+ transcript.

VoiceCopy+ transcripts are AI-generated and are not certified by a court reporter. They are a working tool, not an official record.

New in TPro

For: Provider · Producing transcripts with TPro

  • Natural paragraph breaks. Enhanced transcripts now keep natural paragraph breaks, so long testimony from a single speaker reads in manageable paragraphs instead of one block of text.

  • Refined filler-word handling. When the filler-word option on the TPro form is left unchecked, the enhanced transcript now keeps stutters and false starts for a more verbatim record.

New in Request Central

For: Requester, Provider, Court Clerk, Court Administrator · Finding orders, controlling who orders, and recording payments

Filter the Orders listing

A filter toolbar sits to the left of the Search box on the Orders listing. Open County, Status, or Request Type, choose one or more values, and the list updates immediately, with no Apply button to click.

  • Each selection appears as a chip below the toolbar. Remove a chip to drop that value, or choose Clear all to reset every filter.

  • Filters combine with each other and with Search to narrow your results.

  • Status always appears. County and Request Type appear when your list has more than one value to offer. Long county lists include a search box.

  • Your selections stay applied for your session, including after a page refresh, and clear when your session ends.

Official Use Only notice

Storefronts intended only for authorized court personnel can show a notice on the home page and at the top of the request form, telling members of the public not to submit requests there. A super administrator turns it on in Manage Products.

Payment entry by site administrators

Site administrators can now record a payment on the Payments tab of an off-platform request without claiming the request first.

Improvements and fixes

For: Requester, Provider, Court Clerk

  • Requested Delivery Date. The Requested Delivery Date field on transcript request forms now accepts only a date chosen from the calendar.

  • Orders listing counts. The result count and page numbers on the Orders listing now match the requests your filters return.

Common questions

Why don't I see single sign-on or VoiceCopy+ in Asgard? Both arrive with your court's scheduled Asgard upgrade, and VoiceCopy+ is turned on court by court and role by role. Your court administrator can tell you where your court stands.

Which identity providers does Asgard support? Microsoft Entra ID and Okta.

Does VoiceCopy+ replace VoiceCopy? No. VoiceCopy+ is an enhanced tier you run on a saved case. The original VoiceCopy stays available.

Is my data secure? Yes. TheRecordXchange runs on a SOC 2 Type II platform, and single sign-on keeps credentials with your organization's own identity provider.

How do we turn these features on? Contact your TRX representative or email Support@trxchange.com to ask about single sign-on or VoiceCopy+ for your court.
