Release Notes - April 2026 - What's new in TheRecordXchange®

Release Notes for April 2026. This release centers on RTF/CRE output for TRX TranscriptionPro™ (TPro). It also adds MaxScribe support, automated court-reporter onboarding, a smarter TR Assist, and accessibility upgrades.

Written by Eric Parsons

New features

  • RTF/CRE output for TRX TranscriptionPro drafts. Every draft now produces an RTF/CRE file in addition to the Word document. Both files appear together in the Transcript datatable, ready to download. The RTF/CRE file is validated to import into Stenograph Case Catalyst and Advantage Software Eclipse, so TRX speech-to-text handles the first pass and you finish in the CAT software you already use.

  • RTF download option on draft downloads. You can now download the RTF file directly from a completed draft.

  • MaxScribe support. TheRecordXchange now accepts Stenograph MaxScribe recordings and annotations, widening the range of source formats you can bring in.

  • Automated seller registration. A court reporter who completes storefront registration gains access to shared content right away, with no manual provisioning step in between.

  • TR Assist on Claude Sonnet 4.5. TR Assist now runs on the newest available model for stronger drafting assistance.

  • ADA / Section 508-compliant documents. Invoice and order documents now generate as properly tagged, accessible PDFs that meet ADA and Section 508 standards.

Improvements and fixes

  • TPro "Copy from another date." Prior-date data now populates correctly across all pages and dates when you copy data from another hearing date.

  • Enhanced Transcript drafts. Resolved a network error that could occur when creating a draft, and corrected dates that displayed incorrectly.

  • Transcript downloads. Fixed an "invalid file" error that prevented some transcripts from downloading.

  • Workbench bookmarks. Timestamped lognotes links used to create bookmarks now work as expected.

  • Word Add-in. Tightened the speaker-ID search so it no longer returns false positives.

  • Request Central order forms. Deposit details now route to the Notes field on a request, and order forms support marking participant fields as required.
