Don't worry — your order is likely there
If you placed a request and can't find it after logging in, there are a few common reasons this happens. Work through the steps below and you should be able to locate it quickly.
1. Make sure you're logged into the right account
TheRecordXchange has separate sites for different courts and jurisdictions. If you placed your order through a court-specific link (for example, hennepincounty-mn.trxchange.net), make sure you're logging back in through that same link — not the general TRX homepage.
If you're unsure which site your order is on, check your confirmation email — it will include a direct link back to your request.
2. Check your confirmation email
When an order is successfully placed, TheRecordXchange sends an automatic confirmation email to the address you used when signing up. This email will include:
Your request number
A direct link to your order
The court or jurisdiction your request was submitted to
If you don't see a confirmation email, check your spam or junk folder. If there's no email at all, your order may not have been submitted successfully — see Step 4 below.
3. Log in and check your dashboard
Once you're logged into the correct site, your active requests will be listed on your dashboard. Click on any request number or case name to open it and view the details.
If you have multiple accounts or submitted a request before creating your account, the order may be associated with a different email address. Try logging in with any other email addresses you may have used.
4. If there's still no order — you may need to resubmit
If you completed a request form but did not receive a confirmation email and cannot find the order in your dashboard, it's possible the submission did not go through. This can happen if:
The page timed out or was closed before the order was confirmed
There was a payment or account creation step that wasn't completed
You were redirected mid-way through the process
In this case, you can safely resubmit your request. If you're concerned about being charged twice, reach out to us before resubmitting and we'll check on your behalf.
