Over the years, we've all encountered a variety of A/V players like FTR, JAVS, Courtsmart, Express-scribe, and more. Managing and troubleshooting issues with these players can be quite a hassle. That's why we developed the TRX Player. Our goal is to provide you with a simple, web-based player that can play back all different file types effortlessly.

As a TRX User, you can upload your content to your TRX Request. You can access the TRX Player from any internet-connected device, including smartphones and tablets. The only technical requirement is that the player is optimized for the Google Chrome browser, so we recommend using Google Chrome if you encounter any issues.

The TRX Player is a web-based audio / video player that can be accessed from any computer with a reliable internet connection.

TRX Player Components.

The TRX Player can be started and stopped using your mouse and clicking the play / pause buttons:

The TRX Player can also be connected to a USB Foot pedal. To do so, click the menu button at the top of the player and select "Connect Foot pedal" from the drop down list.

The Foot Pedal options can be adjusted here as well. Backspace interval and Pedal order.

Just click the menu button and select Foot Pedal Options.

Channel Management

Individual Channels can be muted using the green button on each channel. When muted the channel will be crossed out with a red line. See animation below:

TRX Player Navigation Tools

The TRX Player gives you the ability to navigate to a specific time within the recording. To do so, put your cursor in the Current Playback time field and enter the time needed. In the example below, I am looking for the start time of 03:00:00 PM. When I click "Enter" the player takes me right to 3:00:00 pm and starts playing the recording.

Audio Levels / Quality

The TRX Player also processes the audio and video for you, including noise removal and volume enhancement. Ideally, the audio you hear in the TRX Player should be louder and clearer than the original content. If you experience any issues with the TRX Player levels, please contact our support team.

Want to learn more about the TRX Player and how it can help you? Just let us know. We'd be happy to set up a demo!
