Time zone settings on TRX member profiles are a critical component of the workflow processes. We designed the system for all types of member connections, local or remote. This means, even if you have an assignment in the system from a Project Owner in another time zone, TRX will automatically update Due Times to accommodate for time zone differences.
For example, if you are on the East Coast (E.S.T.) and you set a Turn due time of Monday morning at 9 AM. If that Turn is then assigned to a TRX Member in California (P.S.T.), there will be a 3 hour time difference between these locations. TRX will compensate for these differences and will update the due time shown to the Assignee so it is listed as 6 A.M. P.S.T., which is the same as 9 A.M. E.S.T.
As you can imagine, incorrect Time zone settings can create lots of potential issues and confusion.
