TRX Profile Timezone Setting

Timezone settings on TRX member profiles are a critical component of the workflow processes.  We designed the system for all types of member connections, local or remote.  This means, even if you have an assignment in the system from a Project Owner in another timezone, TRX will automatically update Due Times to accomodate for Timezone differences.

For example, if you are on the East Coast (E.S.T.) and you set a Turn due time of Monday morning at 9 AM.  If that Turn is then assigned to a TRX Member in California (P.S.T.), there will be a 3 hour time difference between these locations.  TRX will compensate for these differences and will update the due time shown to the Assignee so it is listed as 6 A.M. P.S.T., which is the same as 9 A.M. E.S.T.

As you can imagine, incorrect Timezone settings can create lots of potential issues and confusion.
