If you receive payments via TheRecordXchange, this article applies to you. If not, you can disregard.
Please be aware that when a customer makes a payment to you by credit card via TRX, that payment is not immediately available to you. It takes 1-2 business days to clear into TRX's bank account. After 2 business days, the payment can be sent to you. Please continue to expect 2-3 business days for payment (unless you have made previous arrangements). Note: if the customer pays online with an American Express, please expect 4-5 business days for payment.
TRX is now using PayPal transfer service to send payments to you. Below are the steps you shall take to receive your payments:
STEP 1: You will receive an email from PayPal (example below):
STEP 2: To accept the payment, click the button on the email that says "Claim Your Money" (example below):
STEP 3: You will be taken to the PayPal website, where it will ask you to either create an account or login (example below):
STEP 4: If you need to create an account, please put in all the information required (example below):
STEP 5: Once you log in or create your account, you will be taken to a screen that says the money has been accepted by you (example below):
STEP 6: To transfer your money into your bank account, you will need to click the "Transfer Money" button (example below):
STEP 7: Continue the steps and click the button to transfer money from your PayPal to your bank (example below):
STEP 8: If you would like your money transferred to your bank instantly, it will cost you $0.25 cents. If you do not wish to pay, continue with the free transfer which will take 1 business day.
NOTE: If you would like to receive a check, click on the bottom button that says "Request a check by mail instead". PayPal charges $1.50 for a check mailed to your home address.
NOTE: Please ensure your PayPal is linked with either a debit/credit card and/or a bank account.
NOTE: At some point, you will also receive any email to confirm your email address. Please confirm your email address by clicking "Confirm My Email" button.
